Who may apply
- International applicants interested in pursuing a fully funded PhD in Singapore
- Students applying to one of the participating institutions: A*STAR, NTU, NUS, SUTD, or SMU
- Applicants with strong academic backgrounds and interest in research
- Graduates from all nationalities and academic fields
- Must meet institute-specific requirements but IELTS/GRE/TOEFL/SAT scores are not mandatory unless requested
- More than 950 scholarships awarded annually

Qualifications
Applicants must have the following qualifications:
- Must be an international applicant
- Must hold strong academic records in bachelor’s or master’s studies
- Must be interested in research in eligible fields: Biomedical Sciences, Computing & Information Sciences, Engineering & Technology, Physical Sciences
- Must provide strong academic referee reports
- Must submit complete documentation including transcripts, recommendation letters, and passport copy
- Optional but may be requested: GRE, IELTS, TOEFL, SAT I/II, or GATE results
