Yenching Academy Scholarship 2026 – Master’s Degree at Peking University (Fully Funded)
Who May Apply
- International and domestic applicants interested in pursuing a Master’s degree in China Studies at Peking University
- Applicants from any academic background, with strong academic records and demonstrated leadership potential
- Applicants who meet English proficiency requirements or qualify for exemptions
- Bachelor’s degree holders or graduating students expected to finish by August 31, 2026
- Approximately 120 scholars selected annually

Qualifications
Applicants must have the following qualifications:
- Must hold a bachelor’s degree or be graduating by August 31, 2026
- Must demonstrate strong academic performance
- Must show interest in interdisciplinary China Studies (politics, history, economics, culture, law, etc.)
- Must show leadership potential and community engagement
- Must meet English proficiency requirements: IELTS 7.0, TOEFL iBT 100, Cambridge 185, CET-6 600, or TEM-4 “良好”
- English proficiency exemptions apply to:
- Native English speakers
- Graduates of English-medium programs
- (But NOT exempt for applicants from Mainland China, Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan — they must submit scores)
- Must submit all required application documents including statements, research proposal, transcripts, CV, and recommendation letters
