Education for Development Scholarship Program (EDSP) – AY 2025–2026
Who May Apply
- Incoming College Freshmen who are dependents of active OWWA members and pass the DOST National Examination (Top 1,000 qualifiers)
- College students (2nd to 5th year level) with a GWA of at least 85%, enrolled in Philippine-based colleges or universities
- Applicants must be the child or sibling of an active OWWA member and must not have availed of any other OWWA scholarship
- Must be single and not more than 30 years old for College Level applicants
- Up to 600 scholarship slots are available for 2nd to 5th year college students
Benefits
Scholars may enjoy the following benefits:
- Up to ₱60,000.00 per school year until completion of a 4- or 5-year baccalaureate degree
- Applicable for scholars from freshman year through graduation (depending on category)
Qualifications
Applicants must have the following qualifications:
- Must be a child or sibling of an active OWWA member
- Must not be a recipient of any other OWWA scholarship program
- For Incoming Freshmen:
- Must qualify in the DOST-administered national exam (Top 1,000 qualifiers)
- Must qualify in the DOST-administered national exam (Top 1,000 qualifiers)
- For 2nd to 5th Year College Students:
- Must be single and not older than 30 years old
- Must have a GWA of at least 85% with no failing grades
- Must be enrolled in a Philippine-based college or universityRequired Documents:
• Valid ID (School ID or government-issued)
• Birth certificate or baptismal certificate
• Proof of grades (Report card, Form 137/138, or Certificate of Grades)
• Copy of valid passport bio page of the OFW
• 2×2 ID photo (white background, with name tag and signature)
- Must be single and not older than 30 years old
