Who may apply
- Deserving migrant workers (active OFWs) not older than 45 years old
- Immediate children of active or inactive OFWs, not older than 21 years old
- Applicants with a GWA of at least 80% with no failing grades
- Children of OFWs must be in the top 20% of their graduating class
- ALS passers with at least 85% average under DepEd’s A&E program
- Family must have an annual gross income not exceeding USD 2,400 or ₱76,000
- Must not have availed of any other OWWA scholarship under a family member
Benefits
Scholars may enjoy the following benefits:
- Up to ₱60,000.00 per school year
- Financial assistance is granted until completion of a 4- or 5-year baccalaureate course
- Scholars may enroll in any Philippine-based college or university
Qualifications
Applicants must have the following qualifications:
- Must be either:
- A migrant worker (active OFW) not older than 45 years old
- A child of an active or inactive OFW, not older than 21 years old

- Must have no failing grades and meet academic standing:
- At least 80% GWA
- Top 20% of graduating class (for children of OFWs)

- Must have at least 85% average, certified by DepEd-accredited schools

- Must not be a beneficiary of any other OWWA scholarship
