Who may apply
- Third-year undergraduate students of the University of the Philippines Visayas
- Students from any academic program
- Students with parental annual gross income not exceeding Php 250,000.00
- Must not be taking a secondary bachelor’s degree
- 1 slot available for AY 2025–2026
Benefits
Scholars may enjoy the following benefits:
- Monthly stipend of Php 3,000
- Book allowance of Php 1,500 per semester
- Monthly transportation allowance of Php 500
Qualifications
Applicants must have the following qualifications:
- Must be a regular third-year student at the University of the Philippines Visayas
- Must have a General Weighted Average of at least 2.0
- Must not have a grade lower than “3.00” (“Pass”) or any unremoved “4.0,” “INC,” “5.0,” or “DRP”
- Parents’ or guardians’ annual gross income must not exceed Php 250,000.00
- Must comply with university and college rules on minimum academic load
- Must not have been subjected to disciplinary action or convicted of a crime
- Must not be taking a secondary bachelor’s degree
