Who may apply
- Graduate students enrolled at UP Diliman or UP Manila
- Students with a permanent residence in Southern Leyte
- Must be a natural-born Filipino citizen
- Must have no grade of “5.0,” “DRP,” or any unremoved “4.0” or “INC”
- Must not be enjoying any other scholarship or grant
- 1 slot available for AY 2025–2026
Benefits
Scholars may enjoy the following benefits:
- Monthly stipend of Php 800
- Book allowance of Php 500 per semester
Qualifications
Applicants must have the following qualifications:
- Must be a graduate student with a permanent residence in Southern Leyte
- Must have an average of at least 2.00 for graduate-level applicants
- Must have carried at least 9 units for graduate-level coursework
- Must have no grade of “5.0,” “DRP,” or any unremoved “4.0” or “INC”
- Must not be enjoying any other scholarship or grant
- Must be of good moral character
