Qualifications
Applicants must have the following qualifications:
- Must be a non-Chinese citizen.
- Must hold a Bachelor’s degree for Master’s programs or a Master’s degree for PhD programs.
- Language Proficiency:
- Proof of English or Chinese proficiency required (IELTS/TOEFL/HSK accepted).
- Exemption possible for those who previously studied in English or Chinese.
- Age Limit:
- Master’s applicants: born on or after January 1, 1996.
- PhD applicants: born on or after January 1, 1991.
- Must apply to only one university (USTC or UCAS); applying to both will result in disqualification.
- Must meet the academic and admission standards of the selected university.
- Required documents include:
- Completed online application form
- Academic transcripts and degree certificates
- Two recommendation letters
- Research proposal or study plan
- Proof of language proficiency (if applicable)
- Valid passport copy
