GSIS STEM Scholarship Program (GSSP) – AY 2026–2027
Who May Apply
- Incoming first-year college students pursuing STEM courses
- Children of active GSIS members or GSIS disability pensioners
- Students with strong academic performance (minimum GWA of 90%)
- Applicants from lower-income GSIS member families (Salary Grade 15 and below or lower pension brackets)
- 1,000 slots available annually, with 200 slots reserved for PWDs, Indigenous Peoples, and solo parents
Benefits
Scholars may enjoy the following benefits:
- Annual financial assistance of ₱15,000
- Support for up to four years of college education
- Opportunity to pursue STEM education in CHED-recognized institutions
Qualifications
Applicants must have the following qualifications:
- Must be a child of an active GSIS member or qualified pensioner
- Must be an incoming first-year college student
- Must be accepted into a STEM program in a CHED-recognized institution
- Must have a General Weighted Average (GWA) of at least 90%
- Must meet prioritization criteria based on family income or GSIS classification
