DOST MECO-TECO Sandwich Scholarship Program (SSP) – AY 2026

• Filipino Master’s and PhD students
  
• Graduate students interested in conducting research in Taiwan
  
• Applicants in priority research fields (e.g., natural sciences, life sciences, engineering, chemistry)
  
• Candidates with secured host professor/adviser in a Taiwanese institution

Scholars may enjoy the following benefits:

• Monthly stipend of NT$25,000 (Master’s) or NT$35,000 (PhD)

• Relocation assistance of ₱30,000

• Opportunity to conduct research in Taiwanese universities and research institutions

Applicants must have the following qualifications:

• Must be a Filipino graduate student (Master’s or PhD level)
  
• Must be accepted or endorsed by a Taiwanese host institution or adviser
  
• Must be engaged in research aligned with priority fields
  
• Must submit complete documentary requirements and endorsements
  
• Must comply with DOST application and evaluation procedures
