CHED Scholarship for Future Statisticians (Estatistikolar) – AY 2024–2025
Who May Apply
- Filipino citizens entering 3rd or 4th year BS Statistics or BS Applied Statistics programs at recognized private or public HEIs
- Students with a General Weighted Average (GWA) of at least 80% or its equivalent
- Students from families with a combined annual gross income not exceeding ₱400,000
- If income exceeds ₱400,000, must present valid justification (e.g., family illness or multiple college-dependent siblings)
- If income exceeds ₱400,000, must present valid justification (e.g., family illness or multiple college-dependent siblings)
- Priority given to those from underrepresented sectors (underprivileged/homeless, PWDs, solo parents’ dependents, senior citizens, IPs)
Benefits
Scholars may enjoy the following benefits:
- Full or partial coverage of tuition and other school fees
- Monthly stipend (up to ₱7,000/month)
- Book and connectivity allowance (up to ₱5,000/semester)
Qualifications
Applicants must have the following qualifications:
- Must be a Filipino citizen
- Must be entering 3rd or 4th year in a BS Statistics or BS Applied Statistics program
- Must have a GWA of at least 80% or equivalent
- Must come from a family with an annual income not exceeding ₱400,000 or provide valid justification if above limit
- Must not currently receive another government scholarship
- Preference given to students from marginalized sectors
