Australia Awards Scholarships – Philippines
Who May Apply
- Filipino citizens residing in the Philippines for at least the last 12 months
- Applicants for the Open Category: Filipino leaders from the public and private sectors with at least 2 years of cumulative work experience and a proposed Re-Entry Action Plan (REAP) for Philippine development
- Applicants for the Targeted Category: Regular employees of AAAEP-P partner organizations, preferably with SG-18 and above, and at least 5 years of public sector experience
- Must not have pending applications or obligations with other scholarship programs
- Must meet English language proficiency requirements:
- IELTS: 6.5 overall with no band lower than 6.0
- TOEFL iBT: above 92
- PTE: 58 overall with no band lower than 54
- IELTS: 6.5 overall with no band lower than 6.0

Qualifications
Applicants must have the following qualifications:
- Must be a Filipino citizen residing in the Philippines for at least 12 months
- Must have a completed Bachelor’s degree (or be eligible for Master’s or PhD admission in Australia)
- Must propose a development-oriented Re-Entry Action Plan (REAP)
- Must not be married to or engaged to an Australian/New Zealand citizen or have pending permanent residency in those countries
- Must not have any ongoing scholarship that will overlap with this award
- For the Targeted Category: Must be nominated by a AAAEP-P partner agency and pass internal selection and medical screening
