Erasmus+ Study Abroad Program
Who May Apply
- Students at the short-cycle, Bachelor’s, and Master’s levels
- Doctoral candidates pursuing a degree at a higher education institution that participates in the Erasmus+ Programme
- Students registered in a degree or tertiary-level qualification program
- Applicants from Erasmus+ Programme countries and Partner countries (including the Philippines)
Benefits
Scholars may enjoy the following benefits:
- Financial grant covering travel and daily living costs (amount varies by destination and other conditions)
- Exemption from tuition, registration, examination, and lab/library fees at host institution
- Additional support for students with fewer opportunities, those on traineeships, or those from remote regions
- Online Language Support (OLS) for language preparation
- Academic credit recognition by home institution under a Learning Agreement
- Transcript of Records and Diploma Supplement upon completion
Qualifications
Applicants must have the following qualifications:
- Must be a citizen of one of 33 eligible countries (including the Philippines)
- Must be admitted to an eligible English‑taught Master’s programme in Sweden
- Must have a minimum of 3,000 hours of work experience (for applicants from the Philippines)
- Must have demonstrated leadership experience from employment, civil society, or other engagements
- Must not have previously received an SI scholarship or hold Swedish/EU citizenship or permanent residence
