Who may apply
- Filipino citizens applying for Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph.D. programs in Taiwanese universities
- Applicants interested in degree programs taught in English or Chinese
- Students not currently receiving other government-funded scholarships
- Applicants willing to study in Taiwan and meet MOE standards
Benefits
Scholars may enjoy the following benefits:
- NT$40,000 tuition waiver per semester
- Monthly stipend of NT$15,000 for Bachelor’s students
- Monthly stipend of NT$20,000 for Master’s and Ph.D. students
Qualifications
Applicants must have the following qualifications:
- Must be a Filipino citizen with good moral character
- Must be in good physical and mental health
- Must not be recipients of other Taiwan government-sponsored scholarships
- Must meet the specific eligibility criteria set by MOE and the chosen institution
- Must submit required documents including application form, transcript, study plan, and health certificate
