Security Bank Foundation Scholars for Better Communities Scholarship Program – AY 2026–2027

Scholars may enjoy the following benefits:

For students in state universities:

• ₱25,000 stipend per half-semester, equivalent to ₱100,000 per academic year
  
• No tuition and miscellaneous fee allotment because these are covered under the Free Tuition Law

For students in private universities:

• ₱12,500 stipend per half-semester, equivalent to ₱50,000 per academic year
  
• Tuition and miscellaneous fee assistance of up to ₱100,000 per academic year

Non-monetary benefits:

• Internship opportunities
  
• Participation in corporate social responsibility activities
  
• Attendance in learning sessions offered by partner institutions

Financial assistance is released according to the actual period during which classes are conducted and remains subject to the applicable maximum annual amount.

Applicants must have the following qualifications:

• Must be an incoming first-year college student at one of the eight partner universities, or a continuing student applying for an available vacant slot
• Must have a General Weighted Average of at least 93% or its equivalent
• Must have no subject grade below 86% or its equivalent
• Must have grades of at least 90% in Grade 7 to Grade 12 subjects related to the intended college course
• Must take an eligible course directly supporting bank operations
• Must not be a child of a Security Bank employee
• Must not have another family member within the second degree of consanguinity or affinity currently admitted to the scholarship
• Must not be a recipient of another scholarship, except for discounts provided by the school
• Must submit the online application form, Grade 7–12 Transcript of Records with GWA, proof of parent or guardian income, proof of admission or application to a partner school, birth certificate, and portrait photo

Applications opened on April 15, 2026. Deadlines vary according to the applicant’s partner university:

• June 15, 2026 – Chiang Kai Shek College
  
• July 17, 2026 – Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila
  
• July 31, 2026 – Ateneo de Manila University, University of Santo Tomas, and Polytechnic University of the Philippines
  
• August 9, 2026 – Far Eastern University and University of the Philippines Diliman
  
• August 31, 2026 – De La Salle University
