Peace Corps Alumni Foundation for Philippine Development Scholarship Program – 2026 Application Cycle

For undergraduate scholarships:

• Current Grade 12 Senior High School students
  
• Senior High School graduates who are not currently enrolled
  
• First-year college students
  
• Filipino students with strong academic performance, leadership experience, and community service involvement
  
• Applicants who demonstrate financial need, with priority generally given to students from low-income households
  
• Students intending to pursue fields with strong potential to contribute to Philippine development
  
• Applicants committed to working and serving in the Philippines after graduation

For advanced-degree scholarships:

• PCAFPD alumni previously supported by the Foundation
  
• Filipino professionals pursuing a Master’s degree, Ph.D., or another advanced degree
  
• Applicants with at least one year of professional work experience
  
• Individuals with demonstrated academic achievement, leadership, community service, and financial need

Scholars may enjoy the following benefits:

• Full coverage of tuition and fees associated with the approved course of study, including graduation fees
• Allowance for books and educational supplies
• Living allowance per semester
• Reimbursement for other approved education-related activities

For undergraduate scholars:

• Laptop computer provided by the Foundation

For graduate scholars:

• Thesis assistance of up to ₱10,000, subject to submission and approval of a funding proposal
• Living allowance may be provided when the applicant demonstrates financial need for this support

Undergraduate applicants must have the following qualifications:

• Must be a citizen of the Republic of the Philippines
  
• Must be a current Grade 12 student, an SHS graduate not currently enrolled, or a first-year college student
  
• Grade 12 students and SHS graduates must pass the school’s entrance examination and gain admission to the declared course by May 31 of the intended enrollment year
  
• Must have a strong record of academic performance, leadership, and community service
  
• Must demonstrate financial need
  
• Must be committed to serving the community and working in the Philippines after graduation
  
• Must pursue a course supported by the Foundation

Advanced-degree applicants must have the following qualifications:

• Must be a Filipino citizen
  
• Must be a PCAFPD alumnus whose undergraduate or graduate education was previously supported by the Foundation
  
• Must have at least one year of professional work experience
  
• Must demonstrate strong academic performance, leadership, and community service
  
• Must demonstrate financial need
  
• Must commit to serving the community or country in the Philippines after completing the degree
  
• Must pass any qualifying examination required by the chosen school or program before the scholarship is awarded
