Who may apply
- Incoming first-year students enrolled at NVSU (Bambang or Bayombong Campus)
- Residents of La Union
- Children or grandchildren of Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries (ARBs) or Small Farmers and Fisherfolk (SFFs)
- With a minimum average grade of 90% or among the top 10% of their senior high school class
- Must be endorsed by their high school principal
- Must not be receiving any other financial assistance, grant, or scholarship
- With a total annual family income not exceeding PHP 300,000
Benefits
Scholars may enjoy the following benefits:
- Annual allowance of PHP 100,000 to cover educational needs such as books, clothing, and course requirements
- Special cash incentives for graduates who finish with honors
- Opportunities for on-the-job training (OJT) in LANDBANK branches, lending centers, and partner agencies
Qualifications
Applicants must have the following qualifications:
- Certified true copy of grades with school seal
- Letter of recommendation from the school principal
- PSA/NSO-certified birth certificate or certified true copy issued by the Local Civil Registrar and authenticated by the PSA
- Photocopy of recent Income Tax Return (ITR) of parents, or BIR Certificate of Tax Exemption, or Certificate of Indigency
- Barangay clearance from the applicant’s home barangay
- Two 2” x 2” ID photos
