National Tsing Hua University (NTHU) Scholarships 2026 in Taiwan (Fully Funded)

Applicants must fall under the following categories:

• International (non-Taiwanese) students applying to Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph.D. programs at NTHU
  
• Must be in good physical and mental health
  
• Must not hold any other scholarship concurrently
  
• 2,000+ scholarships available for 2026 intake

Scholars may enjoy the following benefits:

• Ph.D. Students:
  
  • Monthly stipend: NTD 20,000–40,000
    
  • Tuition and credit fee waivers
• Master’s Students:
  
  • Monthly stipend: NTD 5,000 or Annual stipend: NTD 60,000
    
  • Tuition and credit fee waivers
• Bachelor’s Students:
  
  • Monthly stipend: NTD 5,000 or Annual stipend: NTD 60,000

Applicants must have the following qualifications:

• Must be a non-Taiwanese citizen
  
• Must be in good physical and mental health
  
• Must not be a recipient of another scholarship
  
• Must have the appropriate degree level before applying:
  
  • High school diploma for Bachelor’s
    
  • Bachelor’s degree for Master’s
    
  • Master’s degree for Ph.D.
    
• Must submit the following documents:
  
  • Completed online application form
    
  • Verified highest degree certificate and academic transcripts
    
  • Two recommendation letters
    
  • Valid passport copy
    
  • Study plan (in English or Chinese)
    
  • Proof of English proficiency (IELTS/TOEFL or certificate from prior institution)
    
  • Research thesis or publications (Ph.D. only)
