DOST-SEI Undergraduate Scholarship – AY 2025–2026

Who may apply

  • Graduating Grade 12 students (SY 2024–2025), particularly those under the STEM strand
  • Non-STEM strand students who belong to the top 5% of their graduating class
  • Grade 12 graduates from previous years not yet enrolled in college
  • Students who graduated high school before K–12 and were in the top 5% of their class
  • Must be pursuing any of the over 100 supported courses in science, technology, engineering, or mathematics

Benefits

Scholars may enjoy the following benefits:

  • Tuition and other fees up to ₱40,000/year (for private HEIs)
  • ₱10,000/year for learning materials or connectivity
  • ₱7,000 monthly living allowance
  • ₱1,000 clothing allowance (1st year, 1st semester only)
  • Roundtrip transportation allowance for those studying away from home province
  • Group accident and health insurance
  • ₱10,000 thesis allowance
  • ₱1,000 graduation allowance
  • Additional midyear term benefits (up to ₱10,000 tuition, ₱2,000 materials, ₱7,000/month allowance for 2 months)

Qualifications

Applicants must have the following qualifications:

  • Natural-born Filipino citizen
  • Of good moral character and in good health
  • Must NOT have earned any post-secondary units
  • Belongs to any of the following:

    • STEM strand graduates (automatically eligible)
    • Non-STEM strand graduates in the top 5% of the class
  • Must not have accepted or earned a DOST scholarship grant previously
  • Must intend to enroll in any of the listed DOST priority S&T courses
