CNSC LandBank Scholarship Program

Who May Apply

  • Residents of Camarines Norte or Quezon
  • Children or grandchildren of Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries (ARBs) or Small Farmers and Fisherfolk (SFFs)
  • With a minimum average grade of 90% or among the top 10% of their senior high school class
  • Must be endorsed by their high school principal
  • Must not be receiving any other financial assistance, grant, or scholarship from external sources (e.g., foundations, LGUs, DOST)
  • With a total annual family income not exceeding PHP 300,000
  • Must be enrolled in one of the eligible courses

Benefits

Scholars may enjoy the following benefits:

  • Annual allowance to cover expenses such as books, clothing, and course requirements
  • Special cash incentives for graduating with honors
  • Opportunities for on-the-job training (OJT) in LANDBANK branches, lending centers, and partner agencies

Qualifications

Applicants must have the following qualifications:

  • Certified true copy of grades with school seal
  • Letter of recommendation from the school principal
  • Endorsement letter from a LANDBANK agriculture-related client cooperative, association, or organization
  • 500-word essay on “Why I am pursuing a career in (course to be taken)?”
  • 500-word essay on “How does LANDBANK help in nation building?”
  • PSA/NSO-certified birth certificate or certified true copy issued by the Local Civil Registrar and authenticated by the PSA
  • Proof of registration to the Registry System for Basic Sectors in Agriculture (RSBSA) or certification from the Municipal Agriculture Office (MAO) or Municipal Agrarian Reform Office (MARO)
  • Photocopy of recent Income Tax Return (ITR) of parents or BIR Certificate of Tax Exemption or Certificate of Indigency
  • Certificate of good moral character from the school’s Office of Student Affairs
  • Barangay clearance from the applicant’s home barangay
