CHED SIKAP Scholarship Program (Full-Time and Part-Time Study)

Who may apply

  • Filipino teaching and non-teaching personnel of qualified Higher Education Institutions (HEIs)
  • Full-time employees of:

    • Public or private CHED-recognized HEIs (excluding LUCs without CHED IR)
    • HEIs in BARMM recognized by MBHTE
    • Local Universities and Colleges (LUCs) with CHED Institutional Recognition (IR)
  • Admitted or enrolling in a graduate degree program during the term of application
  • Applicants not more than 50 years old within six (6) months from the date of application
  • Individuals physically and mentally fit to complete graduate studies
  • Applicants with no pending obligations from any previous grant/scholarship
  • Applicants endorsed as part of their SHEI’s manpower development plan
  • Applicants willing to execute a Return Service Agreement
  • Slot count not specified

SIKAP Full-Time Study

  • For Master’s Degree
    • Tuition and other fees – Actual cost
    • Stipend – ₱41,000 × number of months/term
    • Research Allowance – ₱150,000
  • For Doctorate Degree
    • Tuition and other fees – Actual cost
    • Stipend – ₱54,000 × number of months/term
    • Research Allowance – ₱250,000

SIKAP Part-Time Study

  • For Master’s Degree
    • Tuition and other fees – Actual cost
    • Student Subsidy – ₱40,000 per term
    • Research Allowance – ₱150,000
  • For Doctorate Degree
    • Tuition and other fees – Actual cost
    • Student Subsidy – ₱50,000 per term
    • Research Allowance – ₱250,000

 

Qualifications

Applicants must have the following qualifications:

  • Filipino citizen
  • Full-time teaching or non-teaching personnel in a qualified HEI
  • Physically and mentally fit for graduate studies
  • Not more than 50 years old within six (6) months from application date
  • Admitted or will enroll in a graduate degree program
  • Cleared of any pending obligations from previously awarded government grants
  • Endorsed by the Sending HEI (SHEI) as part of its faculty/staff development plan
  • In good academic standing and not on extension of study
  • Must have approved full-time study leave (for Full-Time Study applicants)
  • Must have a valid study permit from SHEI (for Part-Time Study applicants)
  • Must be willing to execute a Return Service Agreement
