Who may apply
Applicants must fall under the following categories:
- Filipino citizens who are graduating SHS students, SHS graduates, or college students with earned academic units relevant to agriculture and related fields
- Enrolled or will enroll in authorized programs of PHEIs, SUCs, or LUCs in agriculture, forestry, fisheries, veterinary medicine, and related disciplines
- Combined annual gross income of parents/guardian not exceeding ₱400,000
- Preferably dependents of registered farmers and/or fisherfolk under the Registry System for Basic Sectors in Agriculture (RSBSA)
- Must not be a beneficiary of any other government-funded student financial assistance program
- Must not have been convicted of a crime involving moral turpitude
Benefits
Scholars may enjoy the following benefits:
- For students enrolled in Private HEIs:
- Tuition and other school fees: ₱10,000 per semester / ₱20,000 per academic year
- Stipend: ₱17,500 per semester / ₱35,000 per academic year
- Book allowance: ₱2,500 per semester / ₱5,000 per academic year
- Total: ₱30,000 per semester / ₱60,000 per academic year
- Tuition and other school fees: ₱10,000 per semester / ₱20,000 per academic year
- For students enrolled in SUCs/LUCs:
- Tuition and other school fees: FREE
- Stipend: ₱17,500 per semester / ₱35,000 per academic year
- Book allowance: ₱2,500 per semester / ₱5,000 per academic year
- Total: ₱20,000 per semester / ₱40,000 per academic year
- Tuition and other school fees: FREE
Qualifications
Applicants must have the following qualifications:
- Must be a Filipino citizen
- Must be enrolled or will enroll in a CHED-recognized agricultural-related program
- Must meet the income ceiling of ₱400,000 annual gross income
- Preferably registered under the RSBSA or similar registry
- Must not be receiving any other government scholarship
- Must not have been convicted of a crime involving moral turpitude
