CHED ACEF-GIAHEP Scholarship Program

Who may apply

Applicants must fall under the following categories:

  • Filipino citizens who are graduating SHS students, SHS graduates, or college students with earned academic units relevant to agriculture and related fields
  • Enrolled or will enroll in authorized programs of PHEIs, SUCs, or LUCs in agriculture, forestry, fisheries, veterinary medicine, and related disciplines
  • Combined annual gross income of parents/guardian not exceeding ₱400,000
  • Preferably dependents of registered farmers and/or fisherfolk under the Registry System for Basic Sectors in Agriculture (RSBSA)
  • Must not be a beneficiary of any other government-funded student financial assistance program
  • Must not have been convicted of a crime involving moral turpitude

Benefits

Scholars may enjoy the following benefits:

  • For students enrolled in Private HEIs:

    • Tuition and other school fees: ₱10,000 per semester / ₱20,000 per academic year
    • Stipend: ₱17,500 per semester / ₱35,000 per academic year
    • Book allowance: ₱2,500 per semester / ₱5,000 per academic year
    • Total: ₱30,000 per semester / ₱60,000 per academic year

  • For students enrolled in SUCs/LUCs:

    • Tuition and other school fees: FREE
    • Stipend: ₱17,500 per semester / ₱35,000 per academic year
    • Book allowance: ₱2,500 per semester / ₱5,000 per academic year
    • Total: ₱20,000 per semester / ₱40,000 per academic year

Qualifications

Applicants must have the following qualifications:

  • Must be a Filipino citizen
  • Must be enrolled or will enroll in a CHED-recognized agricultural-related program
  • Must meet the income ceiling of ₱400,000 annual gross income
  • Preferably registered under the RSBSA or similar registry
  • Must not be receiving any other government scholarship
  • Must not have been convicted of a crime involving moral turpitude
