CEPALCO Scholarship (AY 2025–2026)

Application Period: The application period runs from February 27 to July 20, 2025.

Who may apply

  • Students from Mindanao, preferably from Cagayan de Oro and the nearby municipalities of Tagoloan, Jasaan, and Villanueva in Misamis Oriental
  • Must be enrolled in UP Diliman
  • Must be taking any of the following programs:

    • BS Mechanical Engineering
    • BS Civil Engineering
    • BS Electrical Engineering
    • BS Industrial Engineering
    • BS Electronics Engineering
  • Must be in their 1st, 2nd, 3rd year or an incoming freshman
  • Household annual income must not exceed ₱500,000
  • 2 slots available for AY 2025–2026

Benefits

Scholars may enjoy the following benefits:

  • Monthly stipend of ₱4,000
  • Semestral book allowance of ₱5,000

Qualifications

Applicants must have the following qualifications:

  • Must have a General Weighted Average (GWA) of 2.50 or better
  • Must not have a grade of 5.0, DRP, or unremoved 4.0 or INC in any semester
  • Must not be taking a second bachelor’s degree
  • Freshmen must have passed the UPCAT for admission to UP Diliman
  • Sophomore or junior students must not have received a grade of 4.0 or 5.0 in the last two semesters (including summer)
