Qualifications
Applicants must have the following qualifications:
- Must be a non-UAE citizen and not residing in the United Arab Emirates.
- For Bachelor’s degree programs – must hold a recognized secondary school certificate earned within the past two years; age 16–20 at the time of enrollment; and must not have been expelled from any school.
- For Master’s degree programs – must hold a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum GPA of 3.0 out of 4.0 (or equivalent); two academic recommendation letters required.
- Applicants who are not native Arabic speakers must take a placement test and may be required to complete an intensive Arabic language program.
- All academic documents must be attested by the Ministry of Education and Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the home country and the UAE Embassy.
- Proof of good conduct, a valid passport (with at least two years validity), and passport-size photos are required.
- Fields of study offered include Holy Quran Sciences, Sharia and Islamic Studies, Arabic Language and Literature, Islamic History and Civilisation, Jurisprudence and its Foundations, Economics and Management, and Mass Communication.
