Scholarships for Staff and Instructors’ Knowledge Advancement Program (SIKAP and SIKAP-N) – 2026 Batch 3
Who May Apply
- Filipino teaching and non-teaching personnel pursuing Master’s or Doctoral degrees in the Philippines
- SIKAP Regular: Personnel holding regular, permanent, or plantilla positions
- SIKAP-N: Personnel employed under non-regular or non-plantilla arrangements who have rendered at least five years of service in their Sending HEI
- Personnel employed full-time in eligible public or private HEIs, recognized LUCs, BARMM HEIs recognized by MBHTE, or government agencies and private institutions with an MOU or MOA with CHED
- Applicants pursuing graduate programs in the CHED TANYAG priority areas:
- Creative Industries
- Health and Welfare
- Engineering and Advanced Manufacturing
- Digital Technology and Artificial Intelligence
- Tourism
- Agriculture, Fisheries, Forestry, Veterinary Services, and Food Systems
- Natural Sciences
- Energy
- Actuarial Sciences and Financial Services
- Guidance and Counseling
- Creative Industries

Scholars may enjoy the following benefits:
Master’s – Full-Time:
- Actual tuition and other school fees
- Monthly stipend of ₱41,000
- Research allowance of ₱150,000
Master’s – Part-Time:
- Actual tuition and other school fees
- Term subsidy of ₱40,000
- Research allowance of ₱150,000
Doctorate – Full-Time:
- Actual tuition and other school fees
- Monthly stipend of ₱54,000
- Research allowance of ₱250,000
Doctorate – Part-Time:
- Actual tuition and other school fees
- Term subsidy of ₱50,000
- Research allowance of ₱250,000
Qualifications
Applicants must have the following qualifications:
- Must be a Filipino citizen
- Must be teaching or non-teaching personnel employed full-time by an eligible HEI, government agency, or private institution with a CHED agreement
- Regular SIKAP applicants must hold a plantilla, permanent, or regular position
- SIKAP-N applicants must be non-regular or non-plantilla personnel with at least five years of service in the Sending HEI
- Must have no existing employment or contract of service with another institution or agency
- Must be admitted and enroll in an eligible graduate degree program within the term covered by the application
- Must be physically and mentally fit to undertake and complete the degree
- Must not hold another government-funded scholarship or grant
- Must obtain clearance from previous government-funded grants or scholarships
- Must submit complete documentary requirements through the Sending Institution
