Bagong Pilipinas Merit Scholarship Program (BPMSP) – AY 2026–2027

• Incoming first-year college students
  
• Senior high school graduates with High Honors or Highest Honors (minimum GWA of 95%)
  
• Top-performing students (Top 5 of graduating class prioritized)
  
• Students from low- to middle-income families
  
• Applicants pursuing priority courses (e.g., STEM, health, agriculture, IT, education)

Scholars may enjoy the following benefits:

• Financial support of up to ₱208,000 per year (Metro Manila private HEIs)
  
• Financial support of up to ₱98,000 per year (private HEIs outside NCR)
  
• Stipend, tuition subsidy, and book/internet allowance
  
• Support for full college education in priority programs

Applicants must have the following qualifications:

• Must be a Filipino citizen
  
• Must be an incoming college freshman
  
• Must have High Honors or Highest Honors (minimum GWA of 95%)
  
• Must enroll in a CHED-recognized priority program
  
• Must belong to a low- to middle-income household
  
• Must not be receiving other government scholarships
