Who May Apply

  • Filipino citizens applying for selected Master’s or Ph.D. programs in partner universities in Taiwan
  • Individuals interested in development-focused, English-taught graduate programs
  • Applicants not currently receiving any other scholarship
  • Applicants willing to return to the Philippines after completion of studies

Benefits

Scholars may enjoy the following benefits:

  • Full tuition fee coverage
  • Monthly stipend: NT$18,000 for Master’s / NT$20,000 for Ph.D.
  • Round-trip economy-class airfare
  • Book and miscellaneous costs
  • Dormitory accommodation
  • Medical and accident insurance

Qualifications

Applicants must have the following qualifications:

  • Must be a Filipino citizen
  • Must meet the eligibility criteria and academic requirements of the chosen partner university
  • Must apply for an eligible program under the TaiwanICDF list
  • Must possess strong academic performance and demonstrate potential for future development work
  • Must not be receiving any other scholarship or grant
