Yellow Boat of Hope Foundation, Inc. is a nonprofit that ensures children in geographically remote and underserved areas can attend school safely. It began when a group of volunteers provided a single “yellow boat” to children who had to swim to reach their classrooms—and grew into a movement that now delivers boats, classrooms, dorms, bridges, and learning hubs to communities nationwide. The foundation offers youth volunteers meaningful roles in constructing boats and structures, facilitating educational programs, and supporting community development initiatives that bring hope and access to education.
