Who may apply
- Medical students (incoming or upper‑year) from Northern Samar
- Filipino citizens and residents of Northern Samar
- Good moral character (certified by school dean)
- Age limit: ≤ 35 years for incoming freshmen; ≤ 45 years for upper‑year students
- Must have passed the NMAT with a rating of at least 50%
- Must be admitted to a CHED‑accredited medical degree program
- Must not be related within the 4th civil degree to any owner of a pharmacy or laboratory operating in Northern Samar
Benefits
Scholars may enjoy the following benefits:
- Tuition fee coverage up to ₱100,000 per semester
- Stipend of ₱35,000 per semester
- Book allowance of ₱30,000 per semester
- Uniform allowance of ₱5,000 per semester
- Up to ₱60,000 reimbursement for medical licensure examination review and fees
Qualifications
Applicants must have the following qualifications:
- Must be a Filipino citizen and resident of Northern Samar
- Must have passed the NMAT with at least a 50% rating
- Must be admitted into a CHED‑accredited medical program
- Must be physically and mentally fit (certified by a government‑accredited physician)
- Must have no administrative or criminal offense history
- Must produce evidence of good moral standing and character
- Must sign return‑service agreement to serve in Northern Samar upon licensure
