Who may apply
- Filipino postgraduate students accepted into the Doctor of Philosophy in Human Nutrition or Master of Science in Applied Nutrition programs at UPLB
- Registered Nutritionist-Dietitians
- Not more than 45 years old (for PhD applicants) or 35 years old (for MS applicants) at the time of application
- With GWA of 2.0 or better and not employed in institutions engaged in maternal and infant health care
- Preferably with leadership roles in professional organizations, academic, or research institutions
Benefits
Scholars may enjoy the following benefits:
- Tuition and miscellaneous fees
- Monthly stipend of ₱35,000
- Annual insurance coverage
- Dissertation grant of up to ₱300,000 or thesis grant of up to ₱150,000
- Research grant of ₱200,000
- Dissemination grant of ₱100,000
Qualifications
Applicants must have the following qualifications:
- Filipino citizen
- Registered Nutritionist-Dietitian
- Accepted into UPLB Graduate School’s PhD in Human Nutrition or MS in Applied Nutrition programs
- With a GWA of 2.0 or better
- Must not be employed in maternal and infant healthcare institutions
- Must pass the UPLB screening and interview
- Preferably holds a leadership role in a relevant organization or academic/research body
