Negros Occidental Scholarship Program (NOSP) – AY 2026–2027
Who May Apply
- Residents of Negros Occidental (excluding Bacolod City)
- Incoming college students, current college students, and select postgraduate students (e.g., medicine)
- Students from low-income families
- Applicants belonging to special sectors (e.g., farmers, fisherfolk, OFW families, Indigenous Peoples, PWDs, solo parents)
- Individuals meeting minimum academic requirements (at least 80% average with no failing grades)
Benefits
Scholars may enjoy the following benefits:
- Free tuition and other school fees (for selected scholarship types)
- Monthly stipend
- Book and uniform allowance per semester
- Thesis or research allowance
- Board exam subsidy
- Additional transportation allowance (for certain programs)
Qualifications
Applicants must have the following qualifications:
- Must be a Filipino citizen and resident of Negros Occidental
- Must have a general average of at least 80% with no failing or dropped subjects
- Must belong to a low-income family
- Must not be related to another provincial scholar up to the fourth civil degree of consanguinity
- Must comply with specific requirements depending on the scholarship type applied for
